About the Owner
Jenishia Crockett is an author, entrepreneur, professional accountant, certified tax preparer, travel agent truck driver, and course educator. She started working for herself part-time in 1998, and afterward, people gradually began to ask for her assistance in preparing their taxes. After 10 years of helping others for free, she decided to start the preparation as a business. In 2008, she got certified as a professional tax preparer and received her state and IRS credentials, having 40 tax clients. After working full-time for 17 years on the same job, she decided to step out on faith, become her own boss, and be a full-time entrepreneur. Now 23 years into the business and hundreds of clients later, she's ventured out into helping others know the benefits of preparing taxes yearly and offering classes on how to become a tax preparer and start their own tax business if they choose to. Jenishia started traveling as a hobby over 15 years ago using her own personal travel agent. After experiencing several different states, islands, and six different continents, she was approached with the proposition of becoming a travel agent of her own. This venture has positioned her to help others travel to their dream vacation(s) and to build their own travel agencies. After getting married, she and her husband decided to start their own dispatching and trucking business, which birthed Ofori’s Enterprise LLC. After realizing that the trucking industry is in need of drivers, she decided to help others and teach them how to become a dispatcher and/or truck driver. With the knowledge of starting these businesses, she decided to help others who are interested in starting their own business that’s not related to finance or transportation but are stuck at getting started or don’t even know what to start doing. Now, it’s a passion of hers to help others become entrepreneurs and leave legacies for their children/families.
